I just enjoyed the freshest, yummiest blueberries everr! As I was walking home from my first class, I saw these delicious looking blueberries and raspberries. So, I stopped and got myself a little treat for a lunch desert (much healthier option than gelato :])! One more class this afternoon – The Quarters of Florence. This is my largest class… tops 20 people! Its crazy to think at TCU I could have lectures of 100+ which is still small but 6 people in a class is unheard of.

I’m so sorry for the super slow updates! I’ve been taking tons of pictures and I seem to get bogged down going through them. I have decided to just post and worry about the pictures later. A gallery from this weekend will hopefully be up tomorrow. This past weekend was a lot of fun. Our weekends start on Thursday so we have a little more time to explore.

Thursday: A few of the girls from the other apt, the one only guy from TCU on the trip, and I decided to hike across The Arno river over to the Piazza de Michelangelo to have a picnic dinner. This piazza located on a hilltop that overlooks the city… incredible views.

Friday: Early morning. The TCU group met at the bus station at 7:45 a.m… off to Sienna!

After lunch, the grouped headed to the little town San Gimginano. Here we spent the afternoon climbing the tallest tower of the city, enjoyed champion gelato, and relaxed over good food and friends. It was my favorite stop of the weekend!

Once again, back on the bus! We stayed the night in a small Bed & Breakfast in Colle.

Saturday: Our last stop of the weekend was Volterra.

Always gelato! Roaming the city and admiring Roman Theatre ruins =  time for a treat!

Sunday: Back in Florence for a day of rest!

Now, its time to run out the door to class!! Ciao!
